Between 2005 and 2007 Jonathan was a trainer for a series of workshops focusing on monitoring and evaluating household energy interventions held in Guatemala, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and South Africa. The workshops were organised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Partnership for Clean Indoor AirExternal link (PCIA).
